French Museum Alleges China Of Rewriting History On Genghis Khan
French history museum, ‘Chateau des ducs de Bretagne' in Nantes City, has postponed an exhibition on Mongol emperor, Genghis Khan. The decision came after the Chinese government attempted for "rewriting of Mongol culture" by intimidating museum authorities to remove words like “Genghis Khan“, “Empire” and “Mongol” from the show. Reportedly, China demanded authority over the exhibition's brochures and maps as well. The issue coincides with Beijing's discriminatory approach towards ethnic Mongols.
