Goa: Historical Jail At Aguada To Be Developed As Tourist Spot
Goa's historic Aguada Jail is being renovated into a tourist spot under the Centre's Swadesh Darshan Scheme. The Portuguese-era structure, which is a part of the historic Aguada Fort, will harbour a museum honouring the state's liberation struggle. Besides, two special cells will be dedicated to freedom fighters T B Cunha and Ram Manohar Lohia. Goa CM Pramod Sawant stated the revamp is expected to be completed by March.
