Govt. Unlikely To Permit Kerala Women Who Joined Islamic State
Four women hailing from Kerala accompanied their husbands to join the Islamic State in Khorasan Province (ISKP) during 2016 to 2018. Following the deaths of their husbands in various incidents, the women surrendered to the Afghanistan authorities where they were later imprisoned. As per a source, the Indian authorities are against their return, and thus it is unlikely that they will be permitted to enter the country again.
