Greece To Start Welcoming International Tourists From March 1
Greece will officially welcome international tourists from March 1, instead of mid-April. Amid Omicron infections, Greece managed to welcome international travellers. The tour operators and airlines are urging for a 30-50% hike in travel bookings. As per reports, one in four euros in the country’s economy comes indirectly or directly from tourism. Notably, Greece welcomed more than 7.2 million tourists in the January to November period of 2021.
