India Registers Highest Single Day Spike Of COVID-19 Cases In World
India on April 22 recorded 3.14 lakh fresh COVID-19 cases, highest single-day spike in the world. Reportedly, the country's total number of COVID-19 cases has now increased to 1.59 crore, of which over 22.91 lakh are active. India has also witnessed 1.84 lakh coronavirus-related deaths till now. Meanwhile, Maharashtra, Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh have emerged as the five worst-affected states in India.
