India reported 20,551 new cases of COVID-19 and 70 new fatalities in the last 24 hours, on August 5. With a recovery rate of 98.50%, the total active caseload in the country stands at 1,35,364. Notably, the total active caseload in the country has gone down by 1,114 cases in the span of 24 hours. Futhermore, India has administered over 205.3 crore cumulative doses of COVID vaccine, so far.
