India Reports 2,529 New COVID Cases & 12 Deaths In Last 24 Hours: COVID Update

India reported 2,529 new cases of COVID-19 and 12 fatalities in the last 24 hours, on October 6. A recovery rate of 98.74% has been recorded in the country, taking the total active caseload to 32,282. India’s daily positivity rate stands at 2.07% and weekly rate at 1.38%. Furthermore, India has administered over 218.84 crore cumulative doses of COVID vaccine, since the beginning of the pandemic.
