Indian-America Muslim Attorney Nominated To Be the Ambassador-At-Large
Attorney Rashad Hussain has become the first Indian-American Muslim to be nominated by US President Joe Biden as the Ambassador-at-Large for International Religious Freedom. “Today’s announcement underscores the President’s commitment to build an Administration that looks like America and reflects people of all faiths", the White House stated on July 30. The 41-year-old is currently serving as the Director for Partnerships and Global Engagement at the National Security Council.
