Indian Railway Formulates Policy To Transport Liquid Oxygen In Tankers
The Indian Railways, on April 16, released a policy permitting the transportation of liquid oxygen in cryogenic tankers. As per the policy, the oxygen-carrying cryogenic tankers will be transported by the railways as a roll-on roll paid service and the empty flow of tankers will also be charged. Reportedly, the demand was initiated by the Maharashtra government as it is one of the worst-hit states by the Covid-19.
