At Least 3 Killed, 3 Injured As Cyclone Nivar Hits Tamil Nadu Coast
Cyclone Nivar has caused at least three deaths and three injuries in Tamil Nadu after making a landfall on November 26. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said that the speed of the wind reached 120-130kmph, making Nivar a severe cyclone. "The Severe Cyclonic Storm ‘NIVAR’ would continue to move northwestwards and weaken further into a cyclonic storm during the next six hours,” officials said.
