A painting by Maud Lewis, a Canadian artist, was auctioned for more than ₹2 crores. The painting of a black truck was given to its owner in return for a grilled cheese sandwich. Irene Demas, a chef, bought the painting in 1973. It was given to them by London artist John Kinnear five decades ago.
