Mizoram: African Swine Fever Kills 4,650 Pigs In 2 Months
Mizoram has been facing a grave threat in form of the African Swine Fever (ASF) that has claimed the lives of at least 4,650 pigs in the last two months in the state. Moreover, the outbreak affecting nine districts, including 91 villages, has resulted in a loss of Rs 18.60 crore. Reportedly, the first pig death due to ASF in Mizoram was registered on March 21.
