Myanmarese Turn To Coup-Themed Tattoos As New Form Of Silent Protest
People of Myanmar have resolved to a new form of protest against the ongoing military coup, as many are getting coup-themed tattoos inscribed on their bodies. The preferred tattoo styles are mainly of ousted leader Aung San Suu Kyi's face, the three-finger salute along with 'Freedom from Fear' or 'Spring Revolution' texts. Many tattoo artists have inked the protestors for free, extending their support against the coup that started early February.
