Nepal Calls For Convention Against Terrorism, Supports India's CCIT At UNGA
India's proposal of the Comprehensive Convention on International terrorism (CCIT) was supported by Nepal on September 25 at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). PM Oli, in his speech, mentioned, "We call for an early conclusion of a comprehensive convention against terrorism." India had put forward this convention in 1996 where it demanded a common definition for international terrorism, but could not garner support of other nations.
