Nepal Urges India To Help In Procurement Of COVID-19 Vaccine
The Nepal government has written to India, seeking help to acquire COVID-19 vaccines for about 20% of its population. It has requested the US, Russia, Britain, and other countries working on vaccine as well. Earlier, in November, India's Foreign Secretary Harsh V. Shringla had assured Nepal to provide the vaccine at earliest once available in India. The estimated cost to vaccinate 52% of the Nepal's population has been expected to be around Rs 48 billion.
