Over 200 Lives are Lost Every Year Due to Short Circuits in Andhra Pradesh

According to National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) statistics, on an average, over 200 lives are lost every year in Andhra Pradesh due to short circuits. Over 35% of accidental fires in the state are caused by short circuits due to overloading of refrigerators and air conditioners in commercial and residential buildings. Despite repeated instructions by the fire department, the danger against the same has been overlooked by building owners.
