People Protest Against Pakistan Over Lynching Of Sri Lankan: Colombo
Outside the Pakistan High Commission in Colombo, a large crowd, including monks, protested on December 5 against the killing of a Sri Lankan national in Sialkot city of Pakistan's Punjab Province. The person was identified as Priyantha Kumara, a Sri Lankan executive of a garment factory. He was lynched over the blasphemy allegations on December 3. Notably, Sri Lankan PM Mahinda Rajapaksha had also expressed grief over the incident.
