Signifying "overtourism," the survey calls attention to polluted beaches and waterways and usage of single-use plastics and energy inefficiencies. Reportedly, 36% Indonesian and UK tourists, 33% Chinese tourists, 28% Australian tourists, 27% Malaysian tourists and 24% Indian tourists considered government to be accountable for their sustainable travel.
