Queen Elizabeth II on March 9 broke her silence over the racism remarks made by Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle. Issuing an official statement, she said, "The whole family is saddened to learn the full extent of how challenging the past few years have been for Harry and Meghan." She also called the claims of racism as "concerning" and said the issue would be "addressed by the family privately".
