Taliban Bans Athletic Sports Activities For Women

The Taliban has banned sports activities for women. Hafizullah Abasi, head of the sports club said, the Islamic emirates don't allow women to play athletics instead of having a women coach and separate section, reported TOLO News. "Since the Taliban came to power, I was not allowed to do their exercise," said Tahira Sultan, Taekwondo coach. The Taliban government drew criticism over this decision by an international humanitarian organization.
