Tripura Objects To Mizoram Imposing Restrictions In Disputed Border Village
The Tripura government has asked the Mizoram to pull back the restrictions imposed in a border village, Phuldungsei, claiming that the village falls under the North district of Tripura. Tripura’s additional secretary AK Bhattacharya called the restrictions as "highly objectionable", and requested to withdraw it at the earliest. Earlier on October 16, the Mizoram government restricted public movement in Phuldungsei to stop the construction of a temple.
