USA Limits Chinese Flights Amid Airline Dispute
The U.S. government suspended 44 scheduled flights of China for breaking COVID-19 testing protocols. The Transportation Department, on January 21, issued restrictions against four Chinese airlines in a long-running dispute. China previously banned some inbound flights after passengers on earlier flights, tested positive for the virus. China's move to block flights “is adverse to the public interest and warrant proportionate remedial action by the department,” said the U.S. agency.
