Uttarakhand Govt To Develop 100 Villages At Indo-China Border
The Uttarakhand government has announced an initiative to develop around 100 villages at the India-China border for the betterment of the locals under International Border Development Programme. The state minister Subodh Uniyal said, "We are working to send a proposal to the Central government to develop these villages as Integrated Model Agriculture (IMA) villages." While affirming that the project will boost agriculture, Uniyal said the officials are already working on the project.
