I'm Handicapped......., Says UP Teacher After Muslim Kid Slap Row

The Uttar Pradesh teacher who was seen asking students to slap their Muslim classmate in a viral video today justified her action, saying it was a "minor issue". The incident has sparked a massive row over communal angle. Tripta Tyagi said, "There was pressure from the child's parents to be strict with him. I am handicapped, so I made some students slap him." She denied any communal angle.

UP Muzaffarnagar Students Slap Muslim Kid, Provoked By Teacher

In a shocking event, a school teacher in Uttar Pradesh's Muzaffarnagar made students slap a Muslim kid inside the classroom. A video of the incident which took place in Khabbarpur village has gone viral on social media and the police have begun a probe. "I have declared jitne bhi Mohammedan bachhe hai..." the teacher was caught saying on camera while she called the rest of the class, asked taking turns.

In Tamil Nadu's Tiruvannalamalai region, a Muslim woman named Shabana was restricted to write her Hindi examination, because of her hijab. The administration stopped her and asked her to remove Hijab if she wishes to appear for an exam. Jadavpur University Student Death: UGC Says No Measure To Control Ragging
