Indian Railways Doubles Maximum Number Of Ticket Limit Booked Per User ID

The Indian Railways has doubled the number of tickets that can be booked per user ID through the IRCTC app and website. With this, users whose accounts aren't linked to their Aadhar, can book up to 12 tickets a month, compared to the earlier six tickets a month. Meanwhile, users whose accounts are linked to their Aadhar can book 24 tickets a month, compared to the earlier 12 a month.

COVID-19 Vaccine Facilities Test Aadhaar-Based Facial Authentication In Jharkhand

Jharkhand has tested Aadhar based facial authentication for over 12,000 people at Covid-19 vaccination centres across the state. The contactless facial scan is being tested by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) and all vaccinators have received training for using the feature. "This feature can be used to overcome the challenges caused by fading thumbprints and iris scans," said KK Soan, Jharkhand Health Secretary.

SC Seeks Reply From Centre, States Over Cancelling 3Cr Ration Cards
