UK PM Accepts PM Modi’s Invitation To Visit India: COP26

The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Boris Johnson accepted the invitation of PM Narendra Modi to visit India, said Foreign secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla on November 2. Reportedly, Johnson accepted the invitation on the sideline of the COP26 climate summit. Earlier, the UK PM was scheduled to come to India during the Republic Day parade in January 2021 but the trip was cancelled due to the menace of COVID-19.

British PM Asks For Extension Of Deadline Of US Troops From Afghanistan

For evacuation of the refugees in Afghanistan, British PM Boris Johnson considers persuading US President Joe Biden to extend the deadline that is beyond August 31 of the withdrawal of U.S troops from Afghanistan at the G7 summit. “If the U.S. or U.K. were to seek additional time to continue evacuations, the answer is no,” said Suhail Shaheen, the Taliban spokesperson. However, Biden hoped that he would not have to extend the deadline.

British PM Boris Johnson Ties Knot With Fiancee In Secret Ceremony

British PM Boris Johnson tied the knot with his fiancee Carrie Symonds on May 29. The hush-hush ceremony took place at Westminster Cathedral which was locked at 1:30PM before Symonds arrived in a white dress 30 minutes later. While the guests were invited at the last minute of ceremony, Johnson’s senior officers were unaware of it. Reportedly, wedding invites for July 2022 were sent to close ones earlier this month.

As COVID Cases Mount, UK PM Boris Johnson Cancels His India Visit

For the second time in the year, British PM Boris Johnson has again cancelled his India tour due to COVID-19 surge.
