Indore Registers 13 New Covid-19 Cases, 9 Of Them Were Army officers: Report
Indore recorded 13 new cases of Covid-19 in the previous 24 hours. Nine of the 13 incidents involve Army personnel, some of whom were enrolled at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore for a course. Although these officers were properly vaccinated and asymptomatic, they were admitted to the Mhow military hospital. According to reports, the death toll in Covid has increased to 1,393 in the city.

India Reports 9,119 New Covid-19 Cases; Active Cases Lowest In 539 Days
India reported 9,119 fresh Covid-19 cases in the last last 24 hours, taking the total tally to 3,45,44,882. The active cases in the country currently stands at 1,09,940, which is the lowest in 539 days. Furthermore, a daily increase in fresh infections has been below 20,000 since 48 days. However, 4,66,980 deaths due to Covid-19 has been reported so far, and over 119.38 crore vaccinations have been administered.

Protest Continues Against COVID-19 Curbs In Europe
People in Netherlands, France, and Belgium continued to protest on the COVID-19 curbs. According to reports, people continued to show up in numbers across the European cities with police deploying water cannons and tear gases to disperse the crowd. In view of increasing Corona Virus cases, the European Union had to issue tighter restrictions to curb the virus, where citizens are demanding to remove the mandate of compulsory vaccination.

Karnataka Records 178 New COVID-19 Cases & 2 Deaths
Karnataka reported 178 new COVID-19 cases and two fatalities, bringing the total number of infections to 29,93,777 and deaths to 38,177 on November 22. A total of 373 discharges were recorded, bringing the overall number of recoveries in the state to 29,48,704, according to a health department's report. According to the bulletin, there were 6,867 active cases in the state, with a positivity rate of 0.31 percent.

Kamal Haasan Tests Positive For COVID-19, Hospitalised

No Scientific Evidence For Need Of COVID-19 Booster Dose; ICMR
Dr. Samiran Panda, head of Epidemiology and infectious diseases at the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said that there is no scientific evidence for the need for a COVID-19 booster dose in the country. According to his statement, policy formulation and decisions are based on scientific evidence. "There has been no evidence for the need for COVID boosters. As of now, attaining full vaccination is the first priority", Panda added.

76.3% Chinese Administered COVID-19 Vaccination Doses: China
China administered complete COVID-19 vaccination doses to 76.3% of its population by November 19, said Wu Liangyou, an National Health Commission (NHC) official. According to NHC spokesperson Mi Feng, 1.076 billion people in the country have got the required number of doses for their COVID immunization. Besides, a total of 65.73 million people have also received COVID-19 booster vaccine doses, added Wu.
