Doctor Will Be Responsible For Inadequacy Of Medicines In Hospital

Maharashtra Minister suspend a doctor from the JJ Hospital for shortage of medicines. Amit Deshmukh the Medical Education Minister found that the doctor working there issuing a medicine that was not available at the hospital. The IMA issued a statement regarding that saying, "A doctor can not be held responsible for the hospital not having basic medicines. Most of them were basic medicines but the hospital does not have them."

Pune's ACB Unit Books Government Doctor For Accepting Bribe: Maha

Maharashtra's Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) has booked a medical superintendent in Pune at a sub-district hospital and has been fined for accepting bribe. Dr. Amit Hindurao Desai, an accused has been identified by the ACB. However, as per the Press Release, Mr Desai was supposed to visit another hospital to check if any wrong or illegal practices are going on. However, the case is being further investigated.

One Dead, 13 Injured In Bomb Blast At Udhampur: Jammu & Kashmir

The Union Minister Jitendra Singh informed about an anonymous blast on March 9, J&K, through his tweet. "Blast explosion around "Rehri" near Tehsildar office at #Udhampur. One life lost, 13 injured being moved to hospital. I am in touch with DC Indu Chib on minute to minute basis. Police Constable Shoots Himself With Police Rifle In Mumbai; Situation Critical

A constable of State Reserve Police Force (SRPF) on-duty shot himself with his service rifle in the morning on January 25 in Mumbai. Identified as Pushkar Sudhakar Shinde (36), the constable was immediately taken to a nearby hospital, after the incident took place, where his condition is said to be critical. Police said that Shinde was inside a van, when he fired himself with a rifle.

AP Govt Slashes RT-PCR COVID-19 Test Prices, New Price At Rs 350

Recently, on January 19, the YS Jagan Mohan Reddy led Andhra Pradesh Government slashed RT-PCR test prices. Done to detect COVID-19, the tests will now be done for Rs 350, instead of previous Rs 499 at laboratories and hospitals. The Government asked the concerned authority and district officers to ensure, all labs and hospitals are following the new prices, issued by the state government.
