President Cyril Ramaphosa has confirmed that the International flights to South Africa will resume from October 1. The Civil Aviation Ministry of India has made a decision to re-permit airlines to serve in-flight meals and beverages. Henceforth, the air passengers won't have to carry food with them. The Airports Authority of India has issued fresh guidelines for the air passengers arriving at Tamil Nadu and Uttar Pradesh. Passengers arriving at Tamil Nadu will have to undergo home quarantine for a period of 14 days, and symptomatic passengers have to undergo institutional quarantine. Whereas in Uttar Pradesh, it is 7 days of institutional quarantine for international passengers, and 14 days of home quarantine for domestic passengers.

After a span of 4 months, international travel is steadily getting back on track. International flights from Chennai to UAE have resumed. However, the flights won't be available on a daily basis but will make it feasible for the international travelers. IndiGO and GoAir flights are available to UAE. According to the issued SOP, after acquiring tickets, travelers must provide all the details in the TN e-pass portal.
