Indian Government Asks Citizens To Leave Ukraine Amid Threat Of Russian Invasion
The Indian embassy in Kyiv has asked Indian citizens, especially students whose stay is "not essential", to return home. In addition, People who would remain in Ukraine are asked to stay in touch with the embassy. The notice comes as tensions are escalating at the Ukraine-Russia border. Russia has amassed nearly 1.3 lakh troops at the Ukrainian border. More than 20,000 Indian students and nationals reside in parts of Ukraine.

Hindu Population Decreases By 75 Lakh Over 50 Years In Bangladesh
The population of Hindus reduced to 75 lakh in 50 years, while the total population doubled in Bangladesh, according to the country's latest census of 2011. As per the first census, conducted in 1974, there were 13.4 percent Hindus but the latest census revealed Hindus making up 8.5 percent of the population. The reason behind this has been reported to be an outward migration and minimum fertility rate in Hindus.

VHP To Help Afghan Sikhs & Hindus But Not Muslims
“I object to the migration of Muslims to India” from Afghanistan, said Surendra Jain, Vishwa Hindu Parishad Joint General Secretary. He asserted that all the VHP volunteers would appreciate helping Hindus and Sikhs who migrated from the war-torn country as evacuees. Besides, he asked Punjab CM Amrinder Singh and Akali leaders whether they support offering citizenship to Afghan Sikhs and Hindus.

Delhi: Migrant Workers To Receive Rs 5,000 Aid From Government
The AAP-led Delhi government on April 23 announced to provide Rs 5,000 to 2,10,684 workers associated with Delhi Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (DBOCWW). The government has also assured of setting up a helpline for construction, daily wagers and migrant workers to find hospital beds, medicines and food distribution centres. Reportedly, Rs 52.88 crore has been disbursed so far to 1,05,750 workers.

6 Lakh+ Indians Give Up Citizenship During 2015-19; Study, Job Key Reasons
The Home Ministry has disclosed that over six lakh Indians gave up their citizenship during 2015-19 in favour of securing citizenship of another nation. Most Number Of Highly Educated Migrants In OECD Countries Hail From India
India has topped the 2015/16 list of highly educated migrants in the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) countries. The recent OECD data revealed that out of 120 million migrants living in the member countries, 30-35% were highly educated.
