Karnataka Becomes First State To Introduce New Education Policy
Following the announcement of the National Education Policy 2020, Karnataka becomes the first state in India to issue an order to implement the NEP 2020 on August 7, claims the state's Higher Education Minister C.N. UGC Vice-Chairman Bhushan Patwardhan Quits Office
Serving for over two and half years, the UGC vice-chairman Bhushan Patwardhan resigned on February 6. Reportedly, Patwardhan stepped down eight months ahead of his term citing personal reasons.
