Veteran Bengali actor Pradip Mukherjee, who was admitted to the hospital for a lung infection, passed away on August 29. Tragic Accident Kills Shiv Sangram Leader Vinayak Mete
Shiv Sangram party head Vinayak Mete passed away in the wee hours of August 14, in an accident. Happened at 5:30 am, Mete's car was involved in an accident on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway, leading to serious injuries. Vinayak Mete was one of two people who sustained injuries and passed away while receiving care at the MGM Hospital. 'Titanic,' Actor David Warner Dies Due To Cancer
David Warner, a British actor who is remembered for his work in movies including "Titanic," "Tron," and "The Omen," among others, has passed away. He was 80 years old. Warner passed away from "a cancer-related illness" on July 24 at Denville Hall, a care facility for those working in the entertainment business. In a letter to the newspaper, the actor's family acknowledged the news "with an immensely sad heart."

Indian Hockey Stalwart Varinder Singh Passes Away At 75
Hockey Star, an Olympian and World Cup medallist Varinder Singh (75) passed away on June 28, in Jalandhar. The prestigious Dhyan Chand Lifetime Achievement Award holder, a gold-medalist and pride of hockey stalwart participated in the 1975 men's Hockey World Cup in Kuala Lumpur, the only gold medal win of India. He was also in Olympic events winning bronze in 1972 and silver in 1973 matches for India.
