Patna Man Held For Smuggling Liquor in LPG Cylinder

Bhushan Rai from Patna was held for smuggling liquor, stored inside an LPG gas cylinder. Upon getting a tip-off regarding liquor smuggling in the area, police raided the location. Over 50 litres of liquor has been recovered from inside the cylinder. Under the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Amendment 2022, a first-time rule violator can be imprisoned for even a month upon refusing to pay the fine.

Lalu Prasad Yadav Discharged At 3 AM From AIIMS, RJD Smells Conspiracy

Fodder scam accused and RJD Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav has been admitted to AIIMS Delhi from RIMS, in Ranchi, amid worsening health conditions. However, the AIIMS discharged Prasad at 3 am, on March 24, stating him fit. The RJD leaders questioned the timing of the discharged and said, " Our leader was unwell so he was taken to AIIMS. The hospital discharged him under pressure. It is a political conspiracy".

Bihar Govt To Add 570 New Buses For Intra-State, Inter-State Travel

Bihar Judge Attacked By Policemen; HC To Probe The Incident

Avinash Kumar, additional district and sessions judge in Jhanjharpur subdivisional court, claimed on November 19 that a station house officer (SHO) of Ghoghardiha police station and a sub-inspector assaulted him by forcibly entering his chamber.
