President Ram Nath Kovind will review the Indian Navy’s fleet at the Presidential Fleet Review 2022 on February 21 off the Visakhapatnam coast in Andhra Pradesh. The review will commemorate India’s 75th year of Independence, celebrated as 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav'. Around 60 ships and submarines, and 55 aircraft are scheduled to participate in the review. Notably, INS Sumitra will lead the Presidential Column.

President Ram Nath Kovind, unveiled golden deity Ramanujacharya statue at Shamshabad, Hyderabad. He arrived at Chinna Jeeyar Ashram, on February 13, and marked the end ceremony of the 12-days event, celebrating  "statue of equality" inauguration. Ahead of the Budget Session speech, on February 1, at 11 am, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has arrived at the Finance Ministry. After Finance Minister MoS Finance Pankaj Chaudhary and Bhagwat Karad have also arrived. Moreover,  the Union Budget Session 2022 started from January 31, with President Ram Nath Kovind's speech. Divided in phases, the first part of the budget session is from January 31 to February 11. 

In a relief to the Central Government, President Ram Nath Kovind gave assent to the act, allowing additional Rs 3.73 lakh crore expense in FY 2021-2022. The Appropriation Act 2021, authorises the Government to spend extra money for grants and expenses. Passed in Rajya and Lok Sabha during the Winter Parliament session, the act was approved by President Kovind On January 12 and Gazette notification was released on January 14.

On the occasion of Christmas, President Ram Nath Kovind extended his greetings to the nation and called for adopting the teachings of Jesus Christ, on December 25. "Merry Christmas to fellow citizens, especially to our Christian brothers and sisters," tweeted Rashtrapati Bhavan. PM Narendra Modi also extended greetings to people and also recalled the teaching of Jesus Christ. Notably, the date marks the birth of Jesus Christ.
