President Ram Nath Kovind Presents 8 Cricket Kits To Young Players In Saint Vincent & The Grenadines

President Ram Nath Kovind presented eight cricket kits to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines'  ambitious young players on May 21. He landed at Argyle International Airport in Kingstown on May 19, where he was welcomed by a 21-gun salute and the Guard of Honour. India and Jamaica have historically had friendly ties based on democratic ideals and shared historical and sporting interests.

Delhi L-G Anil Baijal Tenders His Resignation To President Ram Nath Kovind

Anil Baijal, the lieutenant governor of Delhi, resigned on May 18 claiming personal concerns and stating that he has tendered his resignation to President Ram Nath Kovind. Baijal is an IAS officer from the 1969 batch of the AGMUT cadre (Arunachal Pradesh-Goa-Mizoram and Union Territory). He was a former vice-chairman of the Delhi Development Authority in Delhi. In the Atal Bihari Vajpayee government, Baijal was made home secretary.

"I did not expect that I would be invited to State House," Chalamanda told Reuters.
