Indian shuttler PV Sindhu ruled out from World Championship amid stress fracture. After performing in the Commonwealth Games 2022, and bagging Gold Medal for India, Sindhu gave an update regarding the injury in her foot and confirmed her non-participation in the World Championship. "The pain was unbearable during and post the finals," said PV Sindhu in an Instagram post. Furthermore, the championship is to begin August 21 to August 28.

Andhra Govt To Award Rs 30 Lakh To PV Sindhu
A sum of Rs 30 lakh will be awarded to Tokyo Olympic bronze medallist Indian shuttler PV Sindhu by the CM of Andhra Pradesh Jagan Mohan Reddy. According to the State Sports Policy, a bronze medallist is authorised to get Rs 30 lakhs in reward.
