Odisha Govt Brings Down Bus Fares After Reduce In Diesel Price
After diesel prices were reduced in Odisha from Rs 102.22 to Rs 94.74 per litre on May 26, the state government has cut the bus fares, reducing the burden of daily commuters. The reduced rates apply to the stage carriages and not the town buses plying within the state of Odisha. For regular, delux and premium buses, the fare is reduced by three paise, six paise and nine paise, respectively.

SpiceJet To Begin Flight Services Between Bhavnagar-Pune Soon
Airlines company SpiceJet is all set to start flights connecting Bhavnagar in Gujarat with Pune and Mumbai from May 5 onwards. The company released a statement regarding the same on April 26, which read, "The Bhavnagar-Pune flight will operate under the Central government's UDAN scheme". It will start its Q400 aircraft for its route between Ahmedabad-Pune, easing travel for passengers, that too at affordable prices.

Drunk Passengers Arrested For Misbehaving With IndiGo Air Hostess
Three passengers were arrested for misbehaving with the air hostess of a Hyderabad to Lucknow Indigo flight, on April 9. The cabin crew (air hostess) registered a complaint against the passengers and accused them to be drunk and allegedly misbehaving with her on the flight. Notably, after landing in Lucknow, the CSIF took the accused to Sarojini Nagar police and booked them under relevant IPC sections.

India Resumes International Flights From March 27, After 2 Years
Good news for travelers, as international flights are set to be operational from March 27. The flights resumed after a gap of two years due to the coronavirus pandemic, said the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). Approximately, 1,466 international departures will operate to 43 destinations in 27 countries per week, for six carriers, this summer. Ahmedabad-Bhuj Flight Services Likely To Commence From June 1
The Gujarat government on March 24, conveyed that air flight services between Ahmedabad and Bhuj are likely to kick start from June 1.
