27.5 Crore Indians Suffered Eyesight Damage During Pandemic: Study
A study found nearly 27.5 crore Indians have suffered eyesight damage due to increased screentime during the coronavirus-induced lockdown. The screentime potentially increased as education, work, entertainment moved online due to the pandemic. The average screentime of the people is 6 hours and 36 minutes in the country while Philippines topped the chart with around 11-hour screentime and China was at the lowest with 5 hours and 22 minutes.
