74% Health Workers Did Not Receive Second COVID Vaccine Dose: Govt

The Centre's data has revealed that 74% of health workers have not taken the scheduled second dose of COVID-19 vaccine required for the completion of inoculation process. The data indicated that only 98,118 health workers turned up for the second jab on February 15, whereas the scheduled recipients were 3,81,305. While the turnout was highest in Gujarat, UP and Jharkhand, Bihar stood at the bottom. Experts have cited communication gap as a major reason.
