Berlin Police Detains 600 Protesters Floating COVID-19 Norms
Germany's Berlin police detained around 600 protesters for floating COVID-19 norms by gathering on roads on August 1. Reportedly, under the Querdenker movement, thousands of protesters took to the street protesting against the ''German government's anti-coronavirus measures''. However, the police department deployed over 2,000 officers to disperse the crowd and stop them from reaching the Brandenburg gate. Meanwhile, ''They tried to break through the police cordon,'' said Berlin police.
