Brazil Cancels the Import of COVID-19 Vaccine From China; Will Not be Anyone's Guinea Pig
Reacting to the Brazilian President's remark about 'guinea pig', China defensively responded by stating that "China's vaccine R&D leads the world." Eduardo Pazuello, the Health Minister of Brazil had proposed to buy 46M doses from China of its potential COVID Vaccine. However, President Jair Bolsonara canceled the import saying, "the Brazilian people will not be anyone's guinea pig". Brazil remains the third worst-hit country from COVID-19 after the USA and India.
