Central Government To Launch PMMSY; New Fisheries Scheme For Farmers

PM Narendra Modi to launch a new fisheries scheme, Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY). The Yojana includes the e-Gopala app for farmers which will help them in retrieving information regarding the market. The Prime Minister feels PMMSY will add strength to the efforts of building an 'Atmanirbhar Bharat'. The government has invested Rs 20,050 Crores in the scheme which is the highest ever for the fisheries sector.
