Centre Mandates Health Certificates For 2021 Haridwar Kumbh Devotees

Releasing its 2021 Haridwar Kumbh guidelines, the Union on January 24 stated devotees coming from different states must register with the Uttarakhand government. Besides, the government mandated people to carry medical certificates issued by their state government’s health bodies. While the first shahi snan will be on March 11, the Mela will conclude at Chaitra Poornima on April 27. Reportedly, the state requested Centre for 20,000 COVID-19 vaccines ahead of Mela.
