Govt Approves Export Of 156 Defence Equipment Including Tejas
The Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) on February 4 released a list of 156 defence equipment approved by the Indian government for export to friendly nations. The approved equipment includes indigenous LCA Tejas, tanks, missiles and anti-tank mines. Besides, the export list also includes aeronautical systems, nuclear-biological-chemical equipment, electronics and communication systems and missile systems among others. Reportedly, the government aims to export defence equipment worth Rs 35,000 crore by 2025.
