UP Govt Imposes Night Curfew & Suspends Offline Classes Amid COVID-19 Surge

Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath, on January 9, chaired a review meeting over COVID-19 surge and Omicron situation. After the meeting, the UP Government decided to impose night curfew and suspend physical classes of all educational institutions. The night curfew will be between 10:00 pm to 6:00 am, with immediate effect, till January 16. Moreover, UP CM asked district officials and concerned authorities to ensure COVID-19 protocols are followed.
