India Assures Bangladesh to Supply Covid-19 Vaccine on Priority Basis

On August 19, India assured to supply COVID-19 vaccines to Bangladesh as a neighboring country on a priority basis. Indian Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla visited Dhaka when the Foreign Secretary of Bangladesh Masud Bin Momen raised concerns about the border killing of the Bangladesh nationals and the status of Tablighi Jamaat members detained from Bangladesh. The two sides have agreed to meet on the India-Bangladesh Joint Consultative Committee.
