Indian Army Releases Notification For Agnipath Scheme; Recruitment Begins From July

Indian Army published a notification on June 20 for Agniveer recruiting drive commencing from July, which is part of Agnipath short-term service plan. As a concession to appease the protesters, the Centre increased the maximum age limit for recruitment to 23 years for 2022. Home Ministry has decided to grant Agniveers a 3-year age relaxation above the specified upper age restriction for enlistment into Central Armed Police Forces and Assam Rifles.
