London: Patanjali's 'Coronil' Being Sold Without Regulatory Approval
Patanjali-claimed COVID-19 remedy 'Coronil' was found to be available for sale in stores in London. Reportedly, the medicine was being sold primarily in Asian areas without UK's Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency's (MHRA) approval. Moreover, advertising rules in UK bars 'Coronil' to be called as immunity booster or any reference related to the COVID-19 complications. Referring to the issue, MHRA said it will take "appropriate action" in this regard.
