MS Dhoni, Bhuvan Bam Named For Violating Ads Guidelines

Advertising industry's self-regulatory body ASCI has named several celebrities including cricketer MS Dhoni and actor-comedian Bhuvan Bam for violating advertising rules. Getting into details, the ASCI said there has been a steep jump in complaints against celebrities as many of them failed to provide proof of due diligence. Complaints against celebrities witnessed a massive 803 per cent jump in FY23 to 503 ads, as against 55 in the year-ago period.
