Pakistan Ratifies Bill Seeking Review of Kulbhushan Jadhav's Conviction
Despite opposition’s resistance, Pakistan Parliament has ratified a bill seeking review of conviction of retired Indian Navy officer Kulbhushan Jadhav. Supporting the bill, the Law Minster Farogh Naseem said if the bill was not passed, Pakistan could face sanctions, for not complying with International Court of Justice's directives. The opposition argued that the government was providing Jadhav, a relief of appeal against military court’s order, which is not available to a Pakistani.
